OUR STORY
In the beginning, Mannered Mutts Rescue was just a single person operation. This organization was informally created by professional dog trainer and local business owner Jillian Rich. After successfully adopting out a couple dogs, our foster base began to grow. We have a dedicated group of foster homes available to provide housing, training, and love for these dogs.
MISSION
Mannered Mutts Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit all-breed rescue seeking to help homeless animals get the medical care, training, and temporary foster home they need until a family is found to adopt them. This organization is also working to help spay, neuter and vaccinate uncontained and stray animals in and around the Southern Indiana area. The rescue also strives to educate the community on responsible dog ownership, advocating for their dogs, how to prevent dog bites, and the importance of having their dogs trained.
VISION
Mannered Mutts Rescue, Inc. aspires for a world where no dogs go without a home. The rescue aims to be a leading voice in the Midwest and hopes to inspire others to incorporate training into their rescue programs.
